You Light Up My Life.

When I was in 2nd grade I had an experience that scarred me to this day. Sitting in a horseshoe shape in the music room of a new school, a thirty something teacher with long straight blonde hair and no sense of children or childhood made me stand up and sing "You Light Up My Life" to the entire class unaccompanied so she could "see what kind of voice" I had. After I failed miserably (I didn't even know all of the words, and started crying about half way through), she made another girl stand and show me how I was supposed to have done it. This other girl won the talent show later that month singing that song, and then went on to sing in commercials. Isn't that kind of mean.

But this is nice!

Such a nice change from the overused - especially here in Seattle - Edison Bulb!
